• From New Haven and Points South: Take 1-91 North to Route 9 North. Take Exit 26 (Downtown New Britain). Go straight through traffic light at the end of the exit. Continue straight to next traffic light. Turn left onto Chestnut Street. Continue straight. Turn left at traffic light onto Elm Street, which becomes Franklin Square. Courthouse is the third building on the left.
• From Windsor and Points North: Take I-91 South to I-84 West. Take Exit 39a (Route 9). Continue on Route 9 to Exit 27 (Chestnut Street) which is a left hand exit. At the end of the exit, turn right. Continue straight to second light. Turn left at traffic light onto Elm Street which becomes Franklin Square. Courthouse is the third building on the left.
From Danbury and Points West: Take I-84 East to Exit 35 (Route 72 East). Take Route 72 to Exit 9 (Main Street). Turn right at the end of exit onto Harry S. Truman overpass which becomes Franklin Square at second traffic light. Courthouse is the third building on the left.
From Hartford and Points East: Take I-84 West to Exit 39a (Route 9 South). Continue on Route 9 to Exit 27 (Chestnut Street) which is a left hand exit. At the end of exit, turn right. Continue straight to second light. Turn left at traffic light onto Elm Street, which becomes Franklin Square. Courthouse is the third building on the left.
• From Plymouth and Bristol: Take Rt. 72 east to New Britain to Exit 9 (Main St.). Turn right at the end of exit onto Harry S. Truman overpass which becomes Franklin Square at the second traffic light.
• Public Parking* is available at the municipal garage on Badalato Drive. Take a left just after the courthouse onto Pearl St. Then a left onto Badalato Drive.
• * Handicapped parking is available on all levels of the municipal parking garage.
