  • This carries a penalty of 1-20 year prison sentence.

Manslaughter in the First Degree with a Fire Arm

  • Mandatory 5 year prison sentence.
  • Prison sentence of up to 40 years.

Manslaughter in the Second Degree

  • Prison sentence of 1-10 years.

Manslaughter in the Second Degree with a Fire Arm

  • This carries a penalty of up to 10 years in prison, 1 of which cannot be suspended or reduced.

Manslaughter in the Second Degree with a Motor Vehicle

  • 1 yr to 10 years in prison.
  • Loss of resident or nonresident operating privilege for 1 year.
  • Require the installation of an ignition interlock device for a period of two years after a person’s operating privilege is returned.

Assault in the First Degree

  • $15,000 fine.
  • Up to 20 years in prison.

Assault in the Second Degree

  • Fine of up to $5,000.
  • Prison sentence of 1-5 years.

Assault in the Third Degree

  • Fine of up to $2,000.
  • Jail sentence of up to 1 year.

Misconduct with a Motor Vehicle

  • Up to 5 years in prison.

Burglary in the First Degree

  • 5 year minimum mandatory prison sentence.

Burglary in the Second Degree

  • A prison sentence of at least 1 year.

Burglary in the Second Degree with a Firearm

  • A one year mandatory minimum jail sentence.

Burglary in the Third Degree

  • A jail sentence of at least one year.

Burglary in the Third Degree with a Firearm

  • A one year mandatory minimum jail sentence.

Assaulting an Officer

  • Up to 10 years in prison.
  • A fine of up to 10,000.
